This should keep the bolt in place

Question:

My dad subscribes to Auto Restorer and always enjoys the “Mechanic On Duty” section. As such, he wanted me to ask if you were aware of a product that you could put on a head-less bolt (5/8” coarse thread Allen set screw) that he has installed in a threaded hole of the same size in an exhaust manifold so that it will not back out with engine vibration/exhaust pressure? A head-less bolt must be used due to clearance issues.

Answer:

Permatex High Temperature Threadlocker RED (part #24026 for a 6 ml. tube) should work OK for you.
