He has dim dash lights

Question:

I have a 1965 Dodge Dart that I restored but I seem to have a problem with the dash lights as they are not very bright. Can you help me out?

Answer:

Dim dash lights are usually due to dim bulbs, dirt accumulation inside the dash, and/or corrosion inside the switch.

If you didn’t do it during the restoration process, now is a good time to clean the instrument faces and replace all of the dash bulbs.

If that doesn’t make enough of an improvement then I would replace the light switch with a new one.
